After a long time on the road travelling, I was in dire need of a shower which I was able to have at the South Hedland Aquatic Centre by paying the spectator fee of $2.The complex is quite impressive with several pools and shaded areas.

Good setup. Be nice if they stayed open a bit later... 6pm close Fri-Sun makes it impossible to go for a swim after work on those days.Water is too warm in summer.

We had to drag our 2 girls away they liked it so much. A great spot if you are on a long driving trip with kids and need a day to unwind. Staff were also very friendly!

The pool surrounds were lovely and tidy nicely heated pools for a wonderful relaxed swim. The amenities were very clean and also well maintained slip mats are a great idea too .. fully enjoyed my swim and hot shower .

It's a great place to come and cool down during the hotter parts of the year, just a shame that there tends to be some local youths that ruin a fun time with family by being overly aggressive, throwing weapons at staff and bomb diving swim classes of the younger generation who are just learning to swim. Now they have to have security at the pool just because a few youths choosing to waste a good resource.

Very clean pool, super friendly staff and always a lane for myself. Amazing for sunset and sunrise swim sessions, plenty of parking space for your car.

It's not to hard to bag the joint, some days it's great others it's a toxic hazard zone. Can be filled with anti social types that ruin the whole experience but it's Hedland so what can you really expect.

It is a great place to cool off and pass the time during this summer months, and catch up with friends.I love spending time in aquatic activities.
